A deportation decision may be challenged before the administrative court. The time limit is short; unless the foreign national consents, deportation is not carried out while the time limit runs or the proceedings are pending, and the court's decision is final.

Frequently asked questions
Does marriage to a Turkish citizen confer citizenship directly?
No. A foreign national whose marriage continues and who has been married to a Turkish citizen for the required period may apply, subject to conditions including living together as a family and having no obstacle on grounds of national security or public order.
How may Turkish citizenship be acquired after birth?
Citizenship may be acquired by decision of the competent authority, by adoption or by exercising the right of choice. Exceptional acquisition is decided by the President and covers, among others, holders of investor residence permits and Turquoise Cards, together with their families.
